Just a quick message to let you all know my buddy Ken Perdue, or as he went by here - Moe, has passed on.
Ken wouldn't like a huge eulogy on himself so I'll keep it brief.
Although we were roughly 25 years apart we became pretty good friends over the last 10 years. He was an avid outdoorsman. Hunting, fishing he loved it all. He grew up in Calif mostly. Loved predator hunting in the Owens Valley and further east what is now the MNP. He was a member of the CVCA in the early 60's I believe. When he got a bit older he moved to Alaska so he could live and pursue the lifestyle he loved. He lived there for roughly 20 years as I recall. He was definitely a been there done that kind of guy.
Although he lived in Oregon he'd drive down once a year to meet up (usually in Bishop) and do some Coyote calling.
He liked nice guns and was usually carrying something nice. Most of the time one of his early model Sakos.
The last year or so he was in bad health. I'll miss my friend.

Thanks, Ed. I don't believe I actually knew Ken, but we certainly knew people mutually. The CVCA goes back a long ways. Those photos look exactly like some of my hunting grounds.
Good hunting. El Bee
That photo with the cat and a couple coyotes, I have one almost identical somewhere? My photos are in shambles or I'd look for it. Now his, I would guess is taken around Little Lake and mine was taken out by Amboy but it the same type of black lava formations. [ November 06, 2018, 01:20 PM: Message edited by: Leonard ]
