I'll pass......had a buddy that did them kind of hunts on a little 15 acre track of land. He would turn the Rams lose the night before the hunters were get there. The hunters would slip out to this feeder that was in the middle of the place and wait for it to go off. The Rams would come to the feeder they shoot one and be done and back to the truck by 8am.
I see( Tebbe) running it....enough said I'm gone.

Fred you might want to let this thread go on by. I [Big Grin]
No since getting all work up.

I wonder if they also supply a great hunt-of-a-lifetime story so you can impress your friends. Or do you have to make that up yourself?

I must say, I don't know Tebbe, just by reputation. Everything I have ever heard and said about that guy rubs me wrong. And yet, there seem to be some people I know that say he's OK. And other indications are that he's borderline suicidal?

Was it AR that had a chatty breakfast with Tony? I asked it a few years ago and he replied, "no, it was lunch". Or, I've got it backwards, "it was breakfast, NOT lunch". Other than that, who picked up the check?

What was it about chained dogs and feeding them a steady diet of coyote carcasses? How did that turn out? Was there an explanation, one that made sense?

Should this man be throttled? How would that work? Is there anything that would keep him quiet besides a straight jacket? I'm just not buying anything he's selling. His photo....why is he hiding his eyes behind the shades? He deliberately picked that one, must have been a reason?

Our thanks to member#29 for bringing this issue to our attention. Now, what's the story? Right away, I'm not sure we need any hunting challenge of a lifetime to compensate for a little dick?

Comments? Be fair. (if possible) We have the right due to his reputation within the predator hunting community, as it states on the ad. He is us and us is him.

Good hunting. El Bee

edit: sudden thought! We need Q to get to the bottom of this. Dave, do the secret handshake, get the ball rolling!

I cannot understand how anyone can get off killing a captured animal. I have a hunt of a lifetime coming up. I should word it my second hunt of a lifetime: an early Arizona bull elk hunt in unit 6A. I'm pretty much guaranteed an elk unless I get picky.

Cool, let me know...I can see myself now, ranging a sketchy uphill shot at 5 yards-ish..at a monster goat standing on top of your car...

When they get on the roof of my pickup. I stand there & ponder my shooting skills ?

I think you aim a little low for those steep long range shots ?

Yeah.... I was just thinking the exact same thing!
WTF?

How is semi tame goats, the hunting challenge of a lifetime?

That guy is weird. He seems to have a drive to succeed, at something? Maybe he will get lucky one of these days but this particular idea won't do it for him. Doubtful? I hope?

Bill Gates started the same way, suddenly it was the DOS thing and BINGO! He's a Billionaire!

Good hunting. El Bee

edit: maybe we are too easy on him? Somebody needs to get in his face! AR? You're up. Sic'em Tiger!

"Some of our stud rams from today...and future ones for years to come. Who would settle their peep sight on one of these?"

The question should be, who would want to?

I just can't even believe that there's a market for this sort of thing, but apparently there is? Is it city slickers that know no better? Hell, maybe there's some big corporate business that wants to take all their employees on a "big hunt" and they'd go?

I just don't see it, but I've seen some other what I thought were dumb ideas that seemed to be in demand by someone.

You guessed it. All penned up and ready to shoot.
Wait! Not as bad as I thought..all free range hunting...

Tony Tebbe: "The rams are in a 6 acre pasture. I have a huge 3 man popup blind and a feeder, in a back corner....thus the reason bow hunt only. I want a challenge, not a fish in a barrel. Not sure on weight, to be honest. 150ish is a guess. Barbado meat is the best tasting meat of all the sheep. We love it!"

You are embarrassing Q! Have you hugged your goat? Today?

But, they are so cute up on the roof of the pick up! You just can't get mad at them critters.

Ive raised more than a few of that breed of sheep. They are called Blackbelly Sheep, although Ive heard people call them Barbados sheep too. Wild sonofabitches compared to other breeds, but Ive not bottle fed any lambs to get them tame, just pen raised for eating.
I suppose to a hunter who paid that kind of money to shoot one would be remiss to say a big nasty ram was good for the freezer, but I wouldn't want to sink a tooth in one.
A nice 7-8 month old wether or ewe, pen rasied and fattened is indeed good eating, but I love lamb, some folks aren't fond of it, and Ive never figured out why, delicious eating, lamb or goat, as long as it was done right.
