This challenge stuff, Tide Pods, etc. What the hell is wrong with young people? Zero common sense, set themselves on fire?
This is what Liberals are doing. Imagine YouTube deleting Prager University videos, 360 of them, nothing harmful or hateful but the CONTROL FREAKS want to silence conservative thought and instead, they do not censor all this "Challenge" shit on You Tube! This is crazy and something needs to be done. When children are too stupid to understand what can happen with the challenge stuff, it can kill ya, somebody needs to be held accountable! Read it

So what's the deal with the Tide pods? I've seen it mentioned here a few times. But I don't know what it's about?

Dummies have been doing dumb shit, since the dawn of time. But, those dummies were somewhat isolated, and only susceptible to their own dumb ideas...
NOW... dummies can watch other dummies do dumb shit on the internet, and think to their dumb selves: "hey, I can do that, too!!!"
Hence, the proliferation of dummies doing dumb shit...

They swallow the Tide pods on a challenge. Another bizarre challenge is snorting condoms through their nose which then travels thru the nasal passages and is retrieved from their throat via mouth. These are new condoms but who knows when the challenge will be elevated to used ones. Were not talking Rhodes scholars here.

Dave, it's worse than just doing harmless dumb shit. They are doing dangerous things that anyone with an ounce of sense should understand that it will cause damage. What is there about setting yourself on fire that they cannot grasp? It's so fucking retro that you would think that most people would just shake their head and never consider it. For god's sake, do we need a warning on a Tide Pod: do not take internally! It's friggin' detergent. These kids think they are bulletproof. The challenge where they jump out of a moving car, I never stopped to get it straight, as to what they hoped to accomplish, but doesn't it sound sufficiently bonkers: not to give it a second thought?
Our children are growing up in a bubble. Everything is handed to them, they don't have to work at anything and excuse my prudish sensibilities but thanks to Bill Clinton, young girls are taught that a blow job isn't sex and as friendly as a handshake. It's just that Liberals have brainwashed and distorted so many things in our society that values are meaningless.
Young minds are so confused that, here we are, the 21st century and suddenly there are a significant number of children that have been brainwashed into believing they identify with the opposite sex. Encouraged by the Lesbian Lobby, we have ten year olds that can't even manage a decent jerk off, but they think they are girls. It's so ridiculous that it shouldn't be indulged for an instant but here we are, and the orientation is actually encouraged by adults with their own unbalanced issues. Homosexuality is just another choice, like picking your favorite color.
Anyway, I might be getting off into the weeds here but there is so much going on in this country that isn't good. We have not entered a Brave New World thanks to FaceBook and Google. Those cocksuckers own us and the kids don't have a chance. They are dead meat, eating a friggin' Tide Pod because they saw it on You Tube, which is their reality. Makes me want to scream!

I guess my take, is if they are that stupid, let them go ahead and mess themselves up. I feel sorry for them, and their parents, but it ain't my problem.
And I don't think it can really be very common or widespread? I've never heard of it except for it being mentioned here. It's not the kind of thing that happens in my world. My kids aren't doing this stuff, none of the people they know are doing this stuff.
We sit down and eat dinner and talk every night. I'm pretty involved with their lives, spend a lot of time with them, we talk about all kinds of stuff. If they had even heard about anyone at one of their schools doing something like that you can bet I'd have heard.
But if that's really a common thing, and that is who my kids are going to be competing against in life, my kids are going to feed well.
I just don't see any of the doom and gloom you do. I'm around a lot of young people all the time. And I see mostly pretty damn good kids.
End of the day, I'm just not concerned if kids in other places are doing this stuff. They aren't doing it where it effects me or mine, so, whatever, ya know?
Edit: I just googled it, for grins. There have, indeed, been 14 cases of this idiocy reported right here in Utah. But none in my area. And 14 out of a million, eh, yeah, whatever, it's not moving my meter. I give no fucks for this.

These things are happening but I don't feel it is widespread I have 9 grandchildren none of which have condoms hanging out day nose ! Nor is any laundry soap missing ! I think the internet 15 minutes of fame has much to do with this , post a video be cool at school for a day ! In short there have always been morons !

Well look. Hunt masters is not INFO CENTRAL for wacko challenge ideas. Even if it is one or two kids doing dangerous things, that should be common sense avoided, that's still too many snowflakes. Kids, especially now are great conformists and imitators. Jumping off the roof of a barn, 50 years ago, the information didn't travel nearly as fast as it does now.
Really, what are the benefits of a smartphone versus the many ways for misuse including a self absorbed walk in front of a speeding train. I mean really, it's a cool gadget but I could live without it. It didn't save Molly Tibbits life, did it? Do you know how many females walk down the street thinking they are bulletproof because they have a cellphone to their ear?
I'm getting offtrack. One last question. A kid probably didn't earn the money to buy the car that, in the "challenge" they will jump out of while moving. So, they giggle, break a leg and the car plows into whatever is in front of it, a car, a tree, a people, a house, etc. I don't get the shallow vacuous teenagers we have these days? (everywhere but Utah, apparently) I can remember when crowding 15 people into a phone booth was the rage, but now phone booths are extinct so; who can blame them, right? Snorting condoms is perfectly logical but people still choke on a glass of milk; what could go wrong? And, I have no doubt that a damned condom could potentially block all the air passages and suffocate one or two dummy's per week. I don't know, what's the body count?

What worries me for the new generation, well one of the things, is the inexorable enslavement of income redistribution.
I give not one fuck for the kids that would emulate this behavior. I care a lot about the kids who will be forced with a gun to their head to support them. Those would include my kids.

100% agree. If democratic socialism takes off with thr help of complicit Media, yeah, your kids and my kids will pay for the free collige for “everyone”. Its really easy, have rich people pay for everything. I’m telling you now, (again) that one of the dumbest things we ever did was give 18 year olds the vote. They are too easy to manipulate.
