Conejo Valley Archers are having their annual Traditional shoot May 6 / 7th. Simi Valley Calif.
Stick bows & recurves only. (Maybe atlatals, too.)
I try to make this shoot every year........it's a good one !!!!
If you shoot a 'single string' come on by.
I'll even spot you 5 points for a beer bet.

Okay, yes, a refreshing Ice Tea with Lemon would be nice.

I've had people watching me shoot actually cringe when I got to full draw but the string has never tangled in the beard.......even back when it was ZZ Top quality length.

When we did that 3-d course down in Safford the day my granddaughter was finishing her hunter safety course ,I cringed watching the beard nary a whisker!ho bo dah !

Despite a comedy of errors that ended with missing out on coffee with El Bee the tournament was a smashing success.
1st place in my division and 2nd on the entire scoreboard.
A lot of fun novelty shots on a well laid out 3D course.
Had a great time !!!
