It's been a while since I posted anything, but I'm still alive and well. I thought some of you might enjoy glimpse into why I love living here. What a great day after work looks like. There are definitely some advantages to fishing remote, hard to reach areas. This was yesterday after work. Living in Montana is a very cool thing just incase you ever wondered.
Big female brookie!
One more nice male brookie all colored up.
Plus a really cool bonus find on the way in. Even an old dog finds a bone now and then.

Troy, we enjoy your posts almost like no other! Not only. You are the best advertisement for the State of Montana that I know of? No doubt, it's a beautiful place to live. If only I could stand the cold winters. As I have said a number of times, I was born in Minnesota and I know cold and I have never been back there since I was 12! The reason is the frigid winters.
Thanks for sharing. You're even getting better looking, although, be assured, you aren't my type! lol
Good hunting. El Bee
edit: by the way, that first photo belong in a travelogue, it's gorgeous!
PS what are you using on those Brookies? Seems like bait might be the answer, this time of year? [ September 20, 2016, 08:32 AM: Message edited by: Leonard ]

Thanks guys. Leonard, I don't know if I'm getting any better looking or not, but I'm definitely getting older and slower. Lungs still hurt today from huffing and puffing in and out of that place. I used to walk in there and not even break a sweat.
