Koko......I put a little olive oil on it before putting it on the grill.

Lots of wild asparagus growing in North Central Washington. For some reason there are patches on the banks of the Columbia and in some old established apple orchards. Another bonus is every now and then you find a patch of morels growing in an apple orchard. Most times the orchard owner wants nothing to do with wild mushrooms and will let you pick them to your heart's content. Shaggy manes, too.

Yeah, laid out on a cookie sheet, smothered in garlic butter and baked to a fair thee well. But, you really can't go wrong, steamed.

Interesting, that you never see asparagus with anything else like succotash, or peas and carrots. Must be a good reason?

You know what is terrible shit? Slimy Okra! Whoever decided that shit was food aught to be dragged out and shot!

My mom loved boiled okra. I had to control my gag reflex watching her eat the stuff.

I had a friend from Georgia who always raved on about fried okra so I brought some home to try. Awful shit.

My Okie girlfriend said that, done right, Okra is actually edible.
Nobody, however, has actually seen this done, so take it with a grain of salt.

I cut it to length, throw in a with olive oil and s dash of soy. Place on grill and sprinkle with sea salt. Asparagus is some good chit.

Yes, Lance. But as I read your first part, I thought you were talking about Okra! So far, has anybody defended Okra?
