Last year I led a group of ten vehicles on a weekend tour of the ghost towns and old mines of SW Utah. It was so popular and I had so many requests to do it again, I went ahead and had another one, last weekend. Looking likely to become a regular annual event.
Just a few pics from last weekend's run.

Awsome! That Nissan rig pulling the trailer looks like a cool setup. Mark

Thanks for sharing, Dave.
I think I've seen a couple of those depicted? Looks like great coyote country. Unfortunately, Utah, in general, has never lived up to it's potential. Never quite figured out exactly, why? In other words, there just aren't as many coyotes as there should be?
Regardless, good looking stuff. Would love to hear the stories connected with those places. What did they do why did they settle and where did they go and when did they go?
Good hunting. El Bee

Excellent trip, Dave! If I were anywhere near, would jump at the chance to tag along of some of your expeditions. Lucky folks to have you as their guide!!!

Leonard, I'm pretty well versed on the recorded history of most of those places. Part of the tour deal I've done, is I give each attendee an information packet with little cliff notes histories I've written for each of the sites we visit. Then at each stop, I give a short blurb about the when, who, what of the place and answer as many questions as I'm able.
Partial list of sites visited, includes:
Frisco (peaked at 6,000 souls and averaged 12 murders a day!) Newhouse Wah Wah Springs Ranch Desert Research Experimental Station Kiln Springs Mercury Springs Revenue Mine/Pine Grove Camp Stateline Modena Gold Springs Fay Deer Lodge CCC Camp Starr Mining District
