Starting 4th qtr. Commercial's. Haven't seen all but I still like the weinerdog spot followed by the sheep singing Queen....although it didn't make much sense?

Glad Denver won.
Wasn't a particularly interesting game. Denver's secondary could have lost the game, pass coverage wasn't good.
I wouldn't attend a superbowl if I had a free ticket.

Thanks Amigo, was on pins and needles wondering who won the game. I indeed found other things to do instead of sitting in front of the TV. I ran five hundred pieces of .45acp brass thru the tumbler and have it all shiny and new. Loaded 300 rounds of .45 and boxed it up, then tidied up the loading bench and cabinets.

Glad the Broncos won, too. I used to have some respect for Cam Newton, but that went out the window last night.
First of all, he pussed out and didn't go after the fumble with 5 minutes left...the ball was on the ground with your team behind--you do what you have to do to get the ball back.
Secondly, he walked out of the post game press conference. A real leader wins with grace and loses with grace.
As far as being racist, I agree. There were news reports this week that Carolina was the most unapologetically 'Black' team...what would happen if someone would say they were most 'White' team?
Glad they lost...

Edited in: Also I didn't see any of the Panters paying proper tribute while the National Anthem was being sung. In what little footage they showed on tv, none of the panthers had their hands over their heart.

I don't know much about Cam Newton, but watched the AFC and NFC games two weeks ago and was disgusted at the display; Rah, Rah shit. More appropriate for Texas high schools, maybe?
Also, the name? I thought there was some soft rock singer by the same name? No? Oh, maybe it was Juice Newton?
So, the punk walked out of the press conference, eh? That fits. I noticed, out on the field, end of game, he met Manning and he had his helmut on? Must have been the only player on either side that (apparently) was using the helmut as a mask to conceal the fact that - "a little bitty tear let me down, spoiled my act as a clown". He's a big baby, is what he is.
That friggin' game is the most over hyped event in history. It's nauseating what they have done to a simple football game; and the halftime is obnoxiously over the top.

I guess I figure if you can afford to pay $4000-$15,000 for a seat in the stadium, then you can afford what ever the asking price is to eat there too.
Me, I save my pennies to go to Alaska to hunt big game, some people I guess save their pennies to go to the super bowl.

I've missed a lot of super bowls, watched a lot of them too. I'll definitely watch if I'm not out doing something else. Remember getting my truck stuck on super bowl Sunday once and having to walk 12 miles to pavement, then hitch hike a 30 mile ride to a pay phone (before I had a cell), to call a buddy to drive 125 miles to come bail me out.
But, anyway, nothing against the game - I usually do watch.
But polish brass? Oh HELL NO! I tried it. Once. Decided I could definitely live the rest of my life without tumbling brass ever again ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif) .

Highlight of the show was lady gaga singing the National Anthem. I think she did a sincere & beautiful rendition without 'over-doing it' as so many other performers do.
Gamewise?
Offense both sucked.
Both QBs sucked.
Waaay too many penalties.
Defenses did well, but it was more a factor of the offense sucking.
1/2 time show was faggotized to the point of absurdity.
Aside from the Heinz hotdog-dog commercial, the remainder of the viewing experience sorta sucked donkey ballz...
My b.i.l. & his buddy won some scratch on a box, so was happy to hear that!
P.S. we did our annual Polar Bear plunge down in Long Beach earlier in the day! Proceeds & associated fund raising efforts go to the "Make-A-Wish" Foundation. There's always a wonderful turnout, with several thousands of crazy people taking a dip in the Atlantic for a good cause...

How many knew? Apparently, it was his superbowl and Bruno and Beyonce Knowles were recent additions. I have seen enough Beyonce to last me a long time. No talent, as far as I'm concerned. Besides, she looks radical, facial expressions, nonsensical lyrics, B&M costumes, etc. A zipper all the way down to her thigh gap. More like a chastity belt. Ho boy, am I hilarious, or what?

That reminds me. When I was dating the fair Nancy, brought her home a little late one night. Really, not that bad, 1 maybe 2?
Kissed her goodnite and walked back down the driveway to the street and her dad got out of a car parked on the street and headed me off. I got a lecture from an upset gentleman. Don't think I ever did that again?

Broncos won I didn't miss that part. I leave the room for the 1/2 time show always have always will.
Manning has always been an incredible QB he has no help on offense. Wade Phillips the defensive coach should have received the trophy. he had their number start to finish. nite nite Cam !!! you self obsessed asshole !

I know we are a few years apart, LB, but I thought the same thing about an experience I had in high school. I grew up in the country and got sweet on one of our neighbor girls. We dated for 3 years, and she had a little sister that wanted to double date with us one night with a new kid from school.
In those 3 years, I feared her mother more than her dad...
The new kid was not a country kid, and pretty naïve when it came to farm stuff. Before we left the house on the date, her mom looked at the new kid, and said he had better get her little girl home before curfew or she would ‘geld’ him…(they were big horse people)
He was confused and I grabbed him and whispered in his ear what that meant…he turned a bit pale, and all the poor kid did all night was keep looking at his watch, much to the disappointment of his date.
We were 15 minutes early for curfew, and that was the last date she ever had with that kid!
