I "think" I saw him at the memorial, one year? I made a point of visiting the AZ Memorial at 7:55 I think it was, one year? WE picked names from a basket. Victims on little strips of paper, and rode the launch out and tossed the strips over the side. I don't remember what year's anniversary it was, but it was very cool to be there on December 7th.
The funny thing is, we took a shuttle to Pearl Harbor that morning. You know how Honolulu is normally overrun with Japanese tourists? Apparently, not on December 7th. They sleep in.

I was surprised to see so many Japanese on the USS Missouri. A tour guide guiding a bunch of Japs ended his tour at the spot where the Japs signed the surrender agreement on the Missouri. I asked the guide why would they be interested in that spot. His reply was the old ones come to see it because they can hardly believe the emperor signed it, and the young ones come out of curiosity. It would be cool to visit Pearl Harbor on Dec 7th at that time.

I noticed the same thing Leonard, when I went to the monument 20 years ago.

I suppose that it says something that the Japanese remember while an increasing number of our American youth have no idea what Viet Nam was.

What is shameful is how shallow the kids are. They don't have a clue. Reagan might as well have been the president just before Lincoln was shot.
But, they know every detail about Ruhana and Lady Gaga. I could never understand ten/eleven year old kids walking around with $500 phones. When I was a kid, you could buy a pretty nice hotrod for $500. And, they have such an access to porn, it's unbelievable. I really didn't know what a pussy looked like until I was seventeen. And, thanks to Slick Willy, all these kids think that a blow job isn't sex.

Welcome to our dumbed down society Leonard. That movie "Idiocracy" is happening right before our eyes. Too bad the majority of the sheeple don't have a clue what's happening to them. I just hope when the sheeple do wake up,if they ever do,they realize just how much the government has duped them and misled them with lies!
-------------------- Idiocracy. Started as a comedy and is now a documentary about the U.S.
