Robin Williams is and always will be my favorite martian. I don't normally care one way or another when a celebrity passes away. However, Robin Williams made me laugh hard and often. I can honestly say I will miss him. This painting is pretty much for me. Call it closure or whatever you want. I chose green, because what color is more appropriate than green for my favorite martian? Some may not like the colors, but it really doesn't matter, because like I said, it's a painting for me. I don't care for the green, but as you said, it doesn't matter; it's for you.......not me. Awesome work, regardless. One of the funniest shows I've ever seen was the Robin Williams Live At The Met video. I really doubt that any other comedian could have done that show.

I think "green" is kinda inadequate? Maybe TEAL?
I completely respect opinions; who's funny, etc. but his humor never really made me laugh. Having said that, what he did was awesome, the man came up with some off the cuff shit that was unbelievable. I really don't know how his mind worked but it just poured out of his mouth, effortlessly. I doubt we will ever again see that particular type of talent?
Also, hanging seems a pitiful and selfish act. It's also against my religion. Just had to throw that in, no offense.
The portrait is exceptional, Troy. You have a gift.
