Does anyone know of an app for iPhone for marking waypoints ,they have one called gotrapping for androids but I have not been able to find anything for iPhone. I want to find something simple for the trap line. I would appreciate any info. Thanks

search geocaching app for iphone. Will that possibly get you what you want? I saw a lot of different apps there but don't know if they provide the function you're seeking.

Keep me posted if you find a good one. I'd like to have one that I can waypoint stands and range landmarks if that's possible. Would be nice to just sit, look at my phone and know how far for sure. How did we ever get along without this shit? LOL

Right you are, Mate. "How did we ever get along" without this shit made me throw up a little bit in my mouth.
You know, I had a Dr appt. today. I left my iPhone at home! Can you imagine that? Nothing happened. In fact, I'm trying to remember where I left it? I think it's plugged in, in the bathroom?
Man, I hope I never need to depend on an "app" to find my traps! I know I'm a dinosaur. LB

Finding the traps is not the issue if something happens to me , someone else can also find my traps.

Hey Paul, I have a free app for iPhone that used to be called Scoutlook, now its "powered by Mossy Oak". I mostly use it as a quick reference to solunar tables, but there is a "my locations" feature where you can save waypoints by clicking on the map.
Search "Scoutlook" in App store, it will come up as "Mossy Oak Hunting Weather App", by huntlogix.
Worth a shot, its free...
