This one tells it like it really is..............Hope you read it all...........
THIS HAS GOT TO BE PASSED ALONG TO AS MANY AS POSSIBLE OR WE WILL ALL GO DOWN THE DRAIN BECAUSE A FEW DON'T CARE.
This English teacher has phrased it the best I've seen yet.
Tomatoes and Cheap Labor
CHEAP TOMATOES? This should make everyone think, be you Democrat, Republican or Independent
From a California school teacher - - -
"As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of:
I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a large southern California high school which is designated a Title 1 school, meaning that its students average lower socioeconomic and income levels. Most of the schools you are hearing about, South Gate High, Bell Gardens , Huntington Park , etc., where these students are protesting, are also Title 1 schools.
Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast and free lunch program. When I say free breakfast, I'm not talking a glass of milk and roll -- but a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make a Marriott proud. The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten. (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)
I estimate that well over 50% of these students are obese or at least moderately overweight. About 75% or more DO have cell phones. The school also provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls (some as young as 13) so they can attend class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for babysitters or having family watch their kids. (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)
I was ordered to spend $700,000 on my department or risk losing funding for the upcoming year even though there was little need for anything; my budget was already substantial.. I ended up buying new computers for the computer learning center, half of which, one month later, have been carved with graffiti by the appreciative students who obviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free education in America . (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)
I have had to intervene several times for young and substitute teachers whose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students here in the country less then 3 months who raised so much hell with the female teachers, calling them "Putas" whores and throwing things that the teachers were in tears.
Free medical, free education, free food, day care etc., etc, etc. Is it any wonder they feel entitled to not only be in this country but to demand rights, privileges and entitlements?
To those who want to point out how much these illegal immigrants contribute to our society because they LIKE their gardener and housekeeper and they like to pay less for tomatoes: spend some time in the real world of illegal immigration and see the TRUE costs.
Higher insurance, medical facilities closing, higher medical costs, more crime, lower standards of education in our schools, overcrowding, new diseases etc., etc, etc. For me, I'll pay more for tomatoes.
We need to wake up. The guest worker program will be a disaster because we won't have the guts to enforce it. Does anyone in their right mind really think they will voluntarily leave and return?
There are many hardworking Hispanic/American citizens that contribute to our country and many that I consider my true friends. We should encourage and accept those Hispanics who have done it the right and legal way.
It does, however, have everything to do with culture: A third- world culture that does not value education, that accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of school by 15 and that refuses to assimilate, and an American culture that has become so weak and worried about "politically correctness" that we don't have the will to do anything about it.
If this makes your blood boil, as it did mine, forward this to everyone you know.
CHEAP LABOR? Isn't that what the whole immigration issue is about?
Business doesn't want to pay a decent wage.
Consumers don't want expensive produce.
Government will tell you Americans don't want the jobs.
But the bottom line is cheap labor. The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth, a farce, and a lie. there is no such thing as "cheap labor."
Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for $5.00 or $6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return, he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200 free.
He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent.
He qualifies for food stamps.
He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care.
His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.
He requires bilingual teachers and books.
He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.
If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI. Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare. All of this is at (our) taxpayer's expense.
He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.
Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material.
He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits.
Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after paying their bills and his.
The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime, graffiti and trash clean-up.
Cheap labor? YEAH RIGHT! Wake up people.
THESE ARE THE QUESTIONS WE SHOULD BE ADDRESSING TO THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES FOR EITHER PARTY. 'AND WHEN THEY LIE TO US AND DON'T DO AS THEY SAY, WE SHOULD REPLACE THEM AT ONCE!'
THIS HAS GOT TO BE PASSED ALONG TO AS MANY AS POSSIBLE OR WE WILL ALL GO DOWN THE DRAIN BECAUSE A FEW DON'T CARE.

Pretty good stuff.
But it doesn't address the fact that the Americans that are still doing the "jobs no American wants", are now competing with a work force with a third world mentality and standard of living.
I don't want to live with 14 other guys and a chicken, in a one bedroom house, on beans and rice, and all ride to work in two cars... just so I can make a bid on a roof I can afford.
Do I still look like a pinko liberal socialist?

It's tough living in the middle...
Lance,
Long ago, my (hippie) friends called me the fear monger, the war monger, and the gun nut.
Then I came here and was labeled a Democrat, a liberal, and a commie.
The whole time, I have been in the middle, not living or thinking at one extreme or the other.
25 years ago, when I could no longer find a summer job in agriculture (I grew up picking strawberries, and pickles, from the age of 12, and apples, and pears into my late teens), and all the workers had become "migrants", from another country, I knew there was a growing problem.
Now, "suddenly", there's a crisis...
Who's "coming around" to whose line of thinking here?

There is a very simple solution to these problems, but our congress will never act on the solution.
The people are here to make a more money than they can in there home country. A national id card, one that has electronics encriyted memory, picture of the person, DNA, fingerprints and other personal information, it could even be your driver license. We have the techology. Without this card, you could get a job, apply for social security, food stamps, could not file an income tax return, could not enrolled into any school, and the hospital would know that any aid would be the sole responsiblity of the people that they accept.
Of course, most of eveybody would scream "big brother that an invasion of their privacy etc. Big brother already has all of that information anyway. So what!!!
P.S. It also means that you could not vote without your ID card. Reid, Boxer and Schumer would have a stroke if the President order the social security administration to issue cards with these features. [ August 21, 2007, 10:37 AM: Message edited by: 22-250 ]

But how are you going to prove that it is you who is the rightful owner of the card?
Submit to a blood test every time that you apply for any kind of credit?
If that card was ever lost, stolen or even photocopied, all of that information would make it even easier to have your ID stolen.

The card is in encrypted, the same technology of encrypted telephone calls. When the card is read by a card reader, and if the proper 20 digit code is received by the card from the reader, the information is shared with the reader.
A photo of the proper owner is stored on the card memory and is viewed by the reader. As for photo coping the card. the card is blank, no information is on the card face. [ August 22, 2007, 07:21 PM: Message edited by: 22-250 ]

All well and good, Tom. Will it happen? Hard to imagine? I'm all for a National ID Card, but will the Democrats lose their support base?
Also, while driving down the road, and you explaining your idea, as I recall the conversation.....you seem to have dropped, or overlooked the $10,000 charge, per alien, per card?
Good hunting. LB

Tom, All that would do is to prove that the card is authentic. It would prove nothing about the person holding it. How long do you think it would take before the counterfeiters found a way to reverse engineer the encryption of the photo, and replace it with a photo of the person they sold the card to?
I'd rather see a fingerprint scanner, if it came to some method of a National ID.

Tim, All of the assets of the United States could not break Saddam Hussein encrypted cell phone calls or transmissions. Could counterfeiters find a way to reverse engineer the 20 digit encryption if all our counter-intelligence, NSA, CIA could not? Knowing the CIA, maybe?
By the way, your fingerprints and DNA information is a part of the file.
Leonard, the illegal alien charge was being considered as a part of the Bush package for the new immigration bill. That was separate from the National ID. 12 million illegals times $10,000 equals $1.2 with 11 zeros, that is a big number, if I did the math right. This is the word bush used in response to the illegals = I'm "ad·a·mant" –adjective 1. utterly unyielding in attitude or opinion in spite of all appeals, urgings, etc. bush -just like his dad is into the new world order mentality.
They [illegals] will take over our country within 30 years unless people realize that all decisions are not up to the GOV'T...WE are NOT suppose to ask the gov't squat -we are suppose to get what WE want -them acting as our representative. Each and every politician has sworn to protect our country and none of them do.
You could get 100,000 people together and inform the gov't that you [100,000 people] were going to protect the border and if need be you will shoot the invaders. You're biggest enemy at the border would be the us gov't !They [gov't] no longer listen to the people they listen to their campaign funders.
As long as everybody is PC and tolerent of any and everything this country will continue on a steep downhill race into the shitcan.
Talking will get you where we are today and keep you there ,it's like a mouthy unruly child you can talk to them until you're blue in the face-give them a time out -but to really get the point across you beat their ass. Then they realize that doing something you're not suppose to can really hurt . My point being -tell the illegals to hit the road -they have got 3 months to be gone -after 3 months -the talking is over !Anybody who opposes this should be considered a trader and be deported w/ the illegals. SO nothing like that will ever happen b/c nobody is willing to risk 25% much less 100% like our forefathers did.
It's the people in this country who are going to have to change it for the better -not a politician. They get their campaign money from big corporations and in order to get that money they have to "return" favors ! So until our entire political stucture is changed to were it can't be bought we're up shitcreek. I've read that AIPAC gives over 70% of all the campaign money to the politicians ={future frontman} And having two groups who both pretend to care about america is a crock. The dems and repubs are as funny as WWF. So enjoy everyday of the United States of America b/c each day is a day closer to this country falling to the wayside. Things are not going to get better and the good old days are gone forever. Even young people [20's] know the future doesn't hold much hope for them -i [47] didn't feel that way when i was 20yrs old..

I live in California.. Pretty much Illegal central.. You cant even go to the Local Walmart without seeing everything in Spanish. Went to buy some shampoo and I couldnt even read the label because it was all in spanish. Not even a bit of english on the bottle at all. Never mind going to Mexico for holiday, all you need to do is go to Walmart. Here in California we have schools that are so over crowded my sister had to home school her three boys. Yet the workers children all recieve free schooling AND an interpeter.. Im all for building a Wall.. And arm our borders with high powered snipers. Fact is it is soo easy to come here illegally that any terrorist just has to go to Mexico then slip over the border with all the illegals when we are busy over in their country defending their rights.. I think its high time America stayed home and defended our own borders.. If they come here illegaly the only thing they should get free is a one way ride back home.

I read a book one time that talked of something very simlar to this toward the end of it. Only I think they tatooed that info on you? I think the guy that ruled at that time they called the antichrist.
Bad things happened soon after.
I think the solution is simple. Round em up, send em back and guard the border. We have cheap labor for the jobs "no American wants to do". Its called prison. Put those lazy low lifes to work and it will save in multiple ways.
Either way, we gotta wake up, NOW.

It might be educational to see how other countries treat illegal immigration.
Even legal immigration (for example) to Australia requires a certain amount of money and a round trip ticket and a promise not to (I think) seek a job or enroll in the school system. The visa expires in six months and you must leave the country.
I saw an interview recently, on FOX. This dipshit was claiming that the majority of Americans want to allow all these illegals into the country. Should immigration "laws" be treated as merely suggestions?

Chicken shits on both parties. Everyone is afraid to lose a vote or a sect of votes. Screw the unions. Screw the working class. If you dont have the black and mexican vote, your out. Thats a shame. And I dont mean it racially at all.
The last election here in MO last November was a prime example. The rural areas and suburbs came in early. The GOP was doing very well. The inner cities came in late and wiped out the GOP entirely. Pandering to the "minority" vote is the only way to win elections. We are outnumbered, as dumb as that sounds. What is really sad is a big part of the vote are leaches on society. No job. Kick the Mexicans out and put them to work and they wont be demorats anymore when they gotta earn a buck and provide for themselves. Guaranteed.
Someone has to step up and seal the borders or we are tanked.

They just come right back.
Round them up, freeze their assets, convict them under the same legal code Mexico would use against one of us caught in Mexico illegally, turn them over to Sherriff Joe & chain gang them out to growers for the duration of their sentance.
Only when the risk outweighs the reward will you change behaviour.
