a coyote on the way off the mountain last night.
UGLYYYY brown long hackled dumb thing. Told it he had better smarten up or he'll be dead in a little while.
Been hearing one here or there howling at first light when I get here.
Glad to hear them once again.
No I don't hunt them up here. Because they are terrible colored and they usually have mange. I know kill them all. But if they aren't worth a dollar I won't do it. Other half and I have this argument all the time. Waste not want not.

They are all over around my place lately. My dog sniffs like crazy every morning. She sleeps in the mudroom growls @ night & stuff.
Goats are ok !!

Becareful or it'll goat chop time.
More food and shelter in the towns any more than on the public land.
No water and the sagebrush and other brushes all gone.

Yeah the latest is they start howling @ the edge of town, about a mile away pop (1400) about sunset.
Then it's behind us, in front of us, beside us.
While all that's going on, their still howling @ the edge of town.
@ sunrise goats are in their house. Still fair game to a coyote.
