Yeah, that and my favorite slush fund: that five cents "deposit" on every aluminum can and plastic water bottle. I'm told that in California alone, there is unknown billions $ in the bank and nobody ever collects that nickel besides the helpless homeless people pushing grocery carts.
If there is that much money in the bank, awaiting redemption that will never happen, then we need to readjust the deposit to a realistic number. The fact that there is so much money accumulating is proof that it's unjustified, and just another device by the CONTROL FREAKS.

PS I got my first property tax bill since the installation of the solar panels. You would not believe how much they jacked my property value! Meaning, I'm paying a lot more this year and every year thereafter.

Yeah my wife was shopping over in the Republik of Orygone & got this great deal on Coke so she bought a couple 20 packs.
Two buck deposit for each. Recycling is great. I don't like being forced into it though.
Living here on the border we deal with it. It's really the shit's for the good eastern Oregon folk's who have to put up with the shit of the west side. I get just a taste of it.

Mark, beats me? I won't get an accounting from Edison until the end of the year. I expect I will owe them something.
As far as Vivent Solar, this past summer, three months were the highest electric bills I have ever paid! Figure that one out? One of these days, I will have a heart to heart talk with them. I'm thinking I might just throw the disconnect switch and see how long before I get an inquiry?
I will have to pull my last years property tax bill to be sure, but it will be a hefty increase. I'm starting to feel like an idiot.
