In my opinion, the only scent a lion would be attracted to, is lion urine. I don't think I would bother?

Yep lion urine is your best bet, make sure to apply it on your clothes as well as your boots..
If you need some just say the word, I can get you anything from a quart up to a gallon.....

Tim; I want to shoot the lion, not perfume myself up for a date with one.
So, why would putting the urine on my cloths & boots be more better than using my atom-a-mizer bottle?? (To use a Loco-Head word)

koko, I'd forget about mist. Lions aren't coyotes. They aren't inclined to circle downwind to get your scent. In fact, it could be really bad for you to be sitting beside a bush doused in lion urine because, they have been known to jump on a human. There was a case, about a year ago(?) where a guy fixing his mountain bike was attacked and killed down in Orange County.
Put your back against something, a rock, or back into a mesquite. They prefer to attack from behind, so make sure they can't get behind you without being seen first.
Good luck, hope you get one. LB

Leonard got it..
Not sure how well a cat can smell but useing urine or some type of call lure placed away from where you are sitting would'nt hurt and may help keep the cats attension long enough for a hunter to spot and shoot it... [ January 21, 2012, 11:39 PM: Message edited by: TA17Rem ]
