The first lot of calls are Dakota Coyote Howler open reed calls (1H remaining). The 7/8 inch OD tone board calls were hand crafted from 1/2 inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe. This design of my tone board can be blown without any breaks in pitch out to the end or tip of the tone board. This call works the best when blown with your teeth and lips against the reed rather than just your lips. These calls have an overall length of 5 inches and hand turned laminated wood barrels. The cost of these calls will be $18@ TYD sent to the lower 48 states. Additional charges for shipping to Canada and foreign countries. I will accept cash, check, money order, or PayPal. If you are interested in any of these calls, just reply here or PM me.

Depending on the caller’s ability and experience, my open reed calls can produce a variety of sounds with AMAZING volume. Various howls blown with this call will have the coyotes coming to challenge the other coyote that has invaded their territory. The caller can also produce sounds such as the rabbit in distress cries, deer in distress bleats, bird screeches, canine distress calls, coyote estrus chirps with this call. Once the caller masters all the sounds, the predators will come a running to check them out.

The second lot of calls are Dakota Jack bite reed calls (1BR remaining). These bite reed calls have a hand crafted 5/8 inch delrin tone board. These calls have an overall length of 4 inches and hand turned laminated wood barrels. The cost of these calls will be $18@ TYD sent to the lower 48 states. Additional charges for shipping to Canada and foreign countries. I will accept cash, check, money order, or PayPal. If you are interested in any of these calls, just reply here or PM me.

The Dakota Jack call has a bite and blow design that will blow easier and produce better sounds than most of the top calls on today's market. DON'T WAIT you must have one of these calls! The caller can produce sounds such as the raccoon chatter, rabbit distress cries, deer distress bleats, bird screeches, bobcat meows, coyote howls and estrus chirps with this call. Once the caller masters all the sounds, the predators will come a running to check them out.

You should be able to open the following files with Windows Media Player.

To make the raccoon chatter sound, you need to roll or vibrate your tongue against the ends of the tone boards while biting and blowing into the call. Callers are telling me that they call coyotes early and late in the day, then they spend their mid-day hours calling coons from tree denning areas or abandoned building sites using the chatter or various distress sounds.

I have been making various predator calls for the past 30+ years and many of my calls have been used by predator callers across the US. These calls will be a great call for your calling and your collection! An instruction sheet will be included with each call.

Thanks for taking a look my calls.

Steve,
I'll take that 2BR if it's still available. I've been looking for another bite reed to back up the AP-6. Let me know what shipping to Alaska is. If you stick it in the small flat rate USPS Priority box, it's the same as any lower 48 price. Whatever works for you, thanks.

Well, I see that you got it all worked out. I just got home.

Don't you make another model that is completely different? Show us what you got.

Tundra, Aaron is leaving Fairbanks first thing in the morning, (1 A.M.) final destination, Kaiserslautern, Germany.
He might have completely unknown relatives in K Town, since his grandfather (me) was stationed there in the sixties and made a few friends. One, Iris, OMG! was quite a beauty; oops, going down memory lane at breakneck speed.........

So, I will have houseguests tomorrow, since Ontario is the first leg of his journey.

Iris, pronounced Ear-es. Whatever happened to her, anyway?

Steve, let's see your goods!

Good hunting. LB

Leonard,
Last time I chatted with Aaron, he said he was thinking they were staying in Fairbanks. Do you know if he's returning to Fairbanks after Germany? It sounded like he got his fair share of river running in this summer with the Army boats.

Steve....Don't hold out on me, show me the secret weapon call so I can get some type of combo shipping deal. Thanks

Tundra:

Yes the 2B bite reed is available and I have marked it as sold. Do you have a PayPal account? I can send you an invoice for the amount. USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail shipping will be $5, hence the total amount due will be $20.

Guys:

I also make a howler with a 5/8" OD Schedule 40 tone board and a bite reed with a 1/2" delrin tone board if anyone would be interested. The price will be $18 TYD for either of these calls. For anyone that may be interested in two calls, the second call will cost an additional $15. If someone wants to purchase three calls with laminate barrels, the total cost w/shipping will be $45.

Steve,
Sign me up for 3 calls (2 different sized bite reeds and a howler) if you would. One of your howlers, whichever model is louder and deeper sounding is fine. My PayPal is petermarvin@yahoo.com thanks

Steve,
The calls showed up today. They look and sound excellent, I really like your bite reeds, those will be great in the cold. Thanks for the calls and instructions that you included.

Peter:

Thanks for your comments on the calls, your Alaskan weather will no doubt put these calls to the test. I just found out that I can make the raccoon distress cries with the bite reed tone boards by rolling or twittering my tongue while blowing the call. Hopefully this will create another market with the raccoon hunters for the bite reed call.

I'll put them to good use this season and keep you posted. They look durable and should have no problems in the cold stuff though. It's snowing right now and hopefully it keeps up. Now, the temps need to start plummeting into the -10ºF to -20ºF range. Thanks again.
