Out of the sling and free!! Some what can do what I want with in reason.
6 more weeks of physical therapy and doctor said the real work and pain starts next week.

Seen the x-ray of the hardware in the shoulder. Kind of crazy looking.
I'll ring any metal detector now!

What I've noticed is that almost all reconstructions by surgeons use sort of an "Erector Set" attitude, and the nuts and bolts are something that a real mechanic would be ashamed of. Fortunately, there is usually a layer of skin to conceal their
work!

Hope you feel better, soon.

Good hunting. El Bee

PS my good news is that my Hemoglobin is in the 14 range previously it was 7! Eek! Transfusion considerations!

Seen the x-ray. Looks a hell of a lot better than an erector set.
But still more part/screws than one likes in a shoulder.
Didn't have any other options.

No prob. I'm just a perfectionist.

I hear you. The doctor is a perfectionist too.
I swear over half the people here in Challis have gone to this doctor for their shoulder operations. Neighbor has now had both of her shoulders done. She was a month behind me. But she didn't have the reversed replacement just a total shoulder.
