I finally got on the IRS website any typed in my social security number. It informed me that my “check” would be mailed on May 01..Why not a direct deposit, I haven’t a clue?
I know this is ridiculous but I have 5 checking accounts. Maybe they can’t decide? Since it’s the government, they would most likely send it to a dormant account, wouldn’t they?

Mine came direct deposit to where my SS goes feel a little dirty but I will take it sending it back would just give the liberals more to waste. don't spend it at Walmart that"s like direct deposit to the CHINEESE !

they say dead people vote and now I'm more of a believer then ever because my late MIL who passed away about 18 months ago got her $1200 deposited in her bank acct., that my wife had yet to close.

Wife and I got ours direct deposited as well.

I got a check in the mail on May 01, I haven’t deposited it yet. I got on the IRS website and typed in my social security number and they said they would mail my check to my address on May 01, but I got it on 01. Besides that, I’m a little pissed because it’s for $12,000!

What a damned clusterfuck! First of all, I went to my closest bank and guess what? It's closed! Sign on the door.

Then, I went to the next closest and noticed right away, 30-40 people standing around out front, waiting to get in. And, they all looked like street people, ethnic? So, I said fuck this and went to the drive through, but after waiting 3 back, when I got there, apparently things have changed since the last time, no teller, it was just an ATM machine. I pecked at the screen for a long time and maybe I did something wrong when I wanted two hundred bucks and to deposit $1000. But it showed that I deposited a thousand dollar check and I couldn't get it back and it was frustrating! I wound up completing the transaction and starting over and asking for $200 fast cash, fuck it!

When I got home later and checking my email, I had two notices from Chase mentioning a "correction". I'm still not sure if they screwed me out of two hundred bucks or not?

And then I went to Taco Bell. Talking to some chick through the speaker wasn't working very well, so I drove to the window. It got worse, she had that damned mask on and I could NOT UNDERSTAND HER! What's so difficult about a medium drink, 3 supreme tacos and 3 hot sauces? Plus, I later found out, there was an equal amount of sour cream and taco meat and it gagged me! Next time, I will pay attention to the description. But who wants friggin' sour cream on a damned taco, in the first place? And, I didn't get enough hot sauce packets. These days they carefully count them instead of throwing a handful in the bag, along with exactly 2 napkins. I blame wetbacks for management keeping the condiments behind the counter, these days. They used to help themselves to enough hot sauce and chiles to last a week, at home. Not any more. Now, they count what goes in the bag. Progress, and the bottom line!

My stimulus $ was direct deposited on April 14, received letter from the IRS yesterday informing me I was receiving the stimulus. I did file taxes as soon as I received all 1099s, not sure if that dictated when they issued check.or alphabetically according to height.

I feel for you, Paul. Eating can be a very enjoyable experience. It can also be a disappointment, like when biting into a Taco Supreme and getting a mouthful of sour cream, a substance I have never understood the value? I sure as hell don't put that shit on my baked potato!

Man, there are some things, like a rare prime rib with horseradish! Like blueberry pie and ice cream! Like a well made breakfast burrito! Plum pudding with hard sauce at Christmas time. (where'd that come from?)

I could go on, but at least you still have plastic straws and a blender, so good luck to you!

Speaking of which....I sent a text to my son in Mississippi asking if he was back to work yet? He said no, but he was getting unemployment.

I wrote back: I hear it pays pretty good? He said, yeah, I'm getting $600 more a week than on the job! And, I said, that's crazy! He said I know, but I'll take it.

Something's wrong, when a solution to compensating people for being out of work is paying that kind of money!

My son works a highly skilled 5 axis CNC machine, export controlled because they can be used to create nuclear bombs. Makes a decent living, by Mississippi standards. Just imagine how much he makes as an hourly employee and add another $600.

Now start to contemplate those congressional solutions and how they are so fast and loose with words like "Billions" and Trillions" when throwing money at every problem.

Now I'm thinking of all the tacked on amendments that Pelosi insisted on before passing that Bill. And, all those Democrat Governors are working hard to make sure that people don't get back to work and trash the economy, thereby making Trump's reelection pretty bleak. Then, for good measure, let a bunch of prisoners out so they don't contract this virus.

Maybe the whole bunch needs to be taken out and shot?

Yes I already said that I went to the IRS site and entered my ss#, They told me that they were sending my check May 1st.
Kinda pissed me off because I RECEIVED THE CHECK ON THE 1st.

No really, no big deal. I got it and put it in the bank last week.

Here’s something kinda funny. I don’t have a gardener since I relandscaped my property. But the people next door and the folks across the street both use the same team, which is a husband and wife. They are obviously Mexican Indians. You know, short and stocky and generally hard working. Anyway, the rolled up today and unloaded a brand new red Toro mower. I could be wrong, but I’m thinking they got their check because they run a bare bones operation. Just popped into my head.

Are they citizens? Probably 50/50? But they “apparently” got their check and you didn’t! Funny, huh?
