I watched most of the first night but last night I watched a great come from behind victory by the Dodgers over Colorado, 12-8. Dodgers are 7-2 favorites to win the World Series, already.
I just cannot believe people are falling for all of this free stuff? Sure, free college, we pay for it with a tax on the rich. Free Medicare? Sure, my plan is that we pay for it with another tax on the rich.
Rich people are employers, the only ones left after they all move to Switzerland would be working for the government, and just because socialism has not worked anywhere it has been tried is no reason why it won't work this time....right?
But getting back to the Lurkers always scolding me for something. What the fuck are they wasting their time with this little website when they could be over at PMS with Redfrog. Maybe I could rig up something like Facebook where you have to register and log on before you can look at content? And, I have a pretty bulletproof vetting system, you don't get approved unless Vic ok's it. What do you think? It would cut down on the harassment emails a little.

But, here's the main thing. You guys are woefully unprepared for any hiccups on this board. You write for assistance and don't know your member number or even the email address you were using when you registered. And, so with this software, that's the first and second thing you will be asked.
So, make sure you know your member # and your password because the first time you are confronted with a gateway, you will write and I will write back and you will write back, and so forth. All these things are right in front of your face so write it down on a piece of tape and stick it in the corner of your keyboard.

Between now and then, they just need to keep offering up the most extremist views they can muster as a means of separating stupid and gullible people from the spare change they get when they cash in their public assistance checks. Anyone stupid enough to believe that shit and not question the long game isn't very likely smart enough to never, ever question the need to fund these folks. In the current environment, the one with the most extreme view is the one that gets the air time. They know just as well as we do that none of what they're saying will fly and they'd probably be just as shocked as we are if they actually won.
As to the closed board, go for it. User names and passwords are SOP anymore for this very reason. Leonard will be "Big Brother" now. Our own Zuckerburg.

And, Vic is only one post away from being a lurker himself. Poor baby! Thanks for the replies. I haven't really decided if it is worthwhile just to keep out the mean people. It's not a problem to change the format. But when it happens, I will get a bunch of requests for passwords, so that's a small detail, or at least it should be.

Also, sending PMS mail to spam? that's where I find it in the first place. Fat Boy Redfrog sent me a nice "Hello" just a couple days ago.
