Here we have a sport hunter and three CBS people ganging up on her, with their already closed minds, and saying gratuitously, "help us understand", when they had no intention of understanding anything and instead, making a smug public lynching. I give her credit for being polite and severely criticize the interviewers for promoting their anti hunting agenda at her expense. Inane question number 113, "why not leave the beautiful animal for others to enjoy?"
In other words, quit hunting because we don't understand it and, you know we are trying to make you look stupid and cruel....but thanks for standing in for our circular firing squad today.

Here's the deal. It's no secret that the average urbanite or liberal is against consumptive wildlife use. There's not a damned thing any of us can ever say that will change that, the same way as there's no way they'll ever change us and our support for guns/hunting/etc. Just as with just about everything, there's the normal distribution curve where 10% of the population is purely for this, 10% are purely against it, and the remaining 80% are in the middle and are either undecided fence straddlers, or simply don't give a shit. When you agree to an interview such as this, you already know you're starting from behind the crosshairs. Never engage an adversary except from a position of strength.

Here's another version. For some reason, if a bunny hugger has a problem with a hunters reasons, they think they have a right to declare trophy hunting invalid. It's the same old story, there's no room for difference of opinion; what they say goes! It's the same everywhere, this Lesbian group believes that you have to applaud gay marriage, you aren't allowed to say that you disagree. That makes you a hater and that's not allowed. It's the same thing, whatever Liberals think is the law of the land. No more live and let live.
