So, is it just my reading comprehension today, or is this story full of shit?
The Fox headline feed says," Poachers kill Cecils brother"..."Poachers" it says. Then in the story it talks about hunters taking the lion, and another story says it was completley legal, same as the "Cecil" situation.

I understand the media doesnt know the difference between hunting and poaching, nor do they care to, but these storys and how they are reported are bullshit. As usual.

One thing that pisses me off is the anthropomorphism we see everywhere.

We have a very large segment of the population that doesn't know where food comes from, and have never killed anything larger than a spider.

The coastal people have no concept of hunting other than is bad and they have a very negative opinion about the subject.

There are nothing but Yokels in Fly Over Country.

And, the concept of the trophy hunter paying for the permits and the privilege of killing a lion goes so far over their heads, that they will never get it.

If you say, this guy donated $50,000 to the local economy, they cannot visualize what that does for the people and for the animals. They might say; well why don't they just give them the money without killing such a magnificent beast?

But that's a huge part of the problem. Bunny huggers never support wildlife, never buy a license or tags, and are never charged for taking pictures on a Photo Safari.

If we went door to door, and asked all our neighbors to buy a hunting license, they would not only refuse, but they would give you a bunch of shit for supporting the Fish and Game Department. Our message never gets out that we are the only ones supporting wildlife and they never give it a second thought.

Not only that, they are infiltrating the F&G Commission and making everything harder, and soon, hunters will walk away and there goes all the support for wildlife. They don't get it.

Must be nice to be so myoptic? LB
