Do you lose accuracy shooting a 22 lr in a 22 magnum?

I have no idea? It would also never occur to me!

The OD of the mag case is larger than the LR. So LR case will usually split. The bullet of the LR is .222 and the mag is .223 I think thats right. Anyway don't do it.

Do you have a ruger 22 convertible? 22 L.R./ 22 Mag. ? I own one but never used the mag. cyclinder yet.

Well, there you go. The fact that Ruger makes a separate cylinder for 22 long rifle tells me that you shouldn't try to shoot them in the 22 Mag cylinder.

The thing is, you are a handloader and should know these things. Go to your room!
