Had these made a while back, Neoprene cover for remote and caller. Kinda crappy color (which was my fault) but I like the product. Keeps the remote clean and quiet, and the speaker cover does the same.
Not a very good pic but you get the idea.

Like the idea of quieting the remote. Carry mine on a long lanyard and it bangs against my rifle stock fairly often.

Quick fix;
Ace sport bandages.
The kind that sticks to it's self.
Handy stuff to have around.

I have more trouble with the speaker banging against my stool. I have to hold it while I walk to prevent clanking. Yes, I could probably fix it, but I never think of it until ....well, you know?

How does the neoprene affect the speaker? Seems like it would deaden the sound some.

Moe, can't tell any difference...at least to my ear?

Forgot to mention...front of remote is covered by clear pliable plastic that is sewn into the neprene. You do lose a bit of tactile awareness of the buttons, especially with gloves on, so I find myself looking at the remote more often while changing something but it's a worthwhile tradeoff.....for me.

A while ago, somebody made a suggestion to put a gob of some type of epoxy on the numbers/buttons you wanted to be able to locate by feel. I never tried it, but it seems reasonable?

That would certainly work.

Dave, same problem here...the neoprene really quiets things down.

Good idea.

I'd thought about some sort of cover for the caller, but never the remote. And like DAA said, I too wear the remote on a lanyard and it often bangs against my rifle stock.

Since I'm often setting the caller in snow, neoprene would be dandy. Make mine tan/white in color!
