When I got my AR, I couldn't get used to the 'SPROING' sound next to my ear, so I purchased a pneumatic buffer.
I bought it from the same guy who built my gun. I have to say it works very well, but only in temps above freezing.
Does not work well at 15 degrees. I paid $120.00 for it, but will let it go for $80.00 to your door.
