I've been seeing an ad on the TV box promoting South Dakota.
Pretty impressive ad and I gotta say, Gov. Kristi Noem (sp?) looks pretty hot.

Yes, a hot governor, for sure. I went up to South Dakota some years ago and spent a week with Scott Huber, did a little sight seeing and managed to kill a couple coyotes. We toured Black hills and the Crazy Horse site which has a LONG way to go! One interesting thing is Wall Drugs, they have so damned many old photos posted on walls that it takes hours to look at all of them. And I didn't even know that Wall Drugs signs are plastered all over the world?

Also saw a very interesting Reptile place where they have a huge croc that I think it's over 20 ft long, a friggin' beast! They also have a pond or grotto with alligators and crocodiles, even have a covered building so they can get shelter from the SD winters There were possibly a hundred or so, and the two do not mix, however, I don't know how they can tell the difference? Odd place for such an extensive reptile exhibit.

Another charming thing was the Kadota Bowling alley, I think it had 6 lanes? Also the meet and greet location for the whole town.

Another thing, we did stop for gas at that little town where they have an invasion of motorcycles. Not all that impressive at night and off season.

You need to understand that a big portion of the state is reservation land, in fact, Scott's house is on reservation land, something to do with his wife's family or something? Talk about a view from his back porch, complete with mule deer wandering around. Saw some sage hens or Prairie chickens, and the pheasants are almost a road hazard. Also saw a friggin' BUNCH of Bison! The calves are like a cinnamon color, easily distinguished from the adults which are much darker.

The big town is either Cedar Rapids or Grand Rapids? The capitol is Pierre, which is smaller and they pronounce it funny; like "Peer". Go figure? At the airport, I think I was the only one flying that day so of course they had to give me the treatment, checked me with swabs for explosive residue....did I look like a friggin' terrorist, or what?

Speaking of which, flying in, from Denver, and this was on a 727, they actually tried landing three times AND TURNED AROUND AND WENT BACK TO DENVER! it was too foggy and I slept on the floor all night and in the morning they put me on a Great Lakes Airline's 2 prop commuter that seated 12.

Very interesting trip!

Good hunting. El Bee

Quaint and peaceful at least. I just crossed into the people's republic of California yesterday, haven't been in this gawd forsaken state in 25 years. I felt just as I would crossing the border into Mexico, very uneasy and u comfortable. Immediately I suppose I'm a fucking felon, having a handgun in my possession, then I had to pay for fucking bags at the store, gas almost 2 bucks higher than back home, and traffic and beggars abound
Lovely country outside of San Diego, but just another hustle city inside the beast..... one more day and I'm out of this shit hole state.

Good hunting. El Bee

PS come to think of it, what the hell could have encouraged you to enter THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIK?

A rush trip to San Diego, was a sad and somber visit to my wife's dear friend of 50+ years, whose cancer prognosis is not good.
This was likely her last visit and good bye, so a rather emotional visit and trip.
Didn't mean to bash your homeland, just thought nothing would ever drag me back to that state again. I loathe their politics, traffic and vibe. Never felt so relieved to cross back into Arizona this afternoon.

Yes !!!!
There is a 'feeling' when one leaves Calif. and returns to Arizona.
And it's a good feeling.

Keep it up!

Shame me! Ridicule me! Force me, rent and tear my garments! Send me to bed without my supper! Tell everybody I'm a finger pecker! Stress my negatives, as it were!

I've mentioned, previously....IT'S COMING YOUR WAY!

So. Laugh it off, Binky!

Oh, and Good Hunting. El Bee
