If they were to take a survey in the year 2525, if man is still alive, etc.

And they ask, what was the most well known falsehood of the last 500 years?

The winner by a long margin would be
GLOBAL WARMING,slash, CLIMATE CHANGE.

Actually, I think that we are warming up. Have been since the end of the last Ice Age and will until the beginning of the next one.

The falsehood is that it's our fault and that there's anything we can do about it.
But as any good democrat will tell you 'Never let a good crisis go to waste'
And, if you don't have a crisis ......... make one !!!
Works for the climate change people and it worked for the Hildabeast with the Russian dossiea.

Well, yes of course!

The problem is taking a natural occurrence such as the cyclical warming and cooling of the planet, due primarily sun spot activity, and turning it into some crisis that man can do anything about. We can't, and it's beyond silly, besides dishonest. But half the friggin' world thinks this is something we should be worried about and worse, that we can do something about it! It's a gift to the CONTROL FREAKS!

Won't be long at all. Time's gonna start flying when someone finally decides to light this shit off once and for all. 350 million firearms and several trillion rounds of ammo versus an opposing army of g-string wearing libtards swinging flyswatters and dildos is gonna be one hella short civil war. Hell, they got AR's, took a stand, and one of them had an accidental discharge and hurt three of his comrades. At that rate, we oughtta have a pretty good shots fired:kills ratio. I keep seeing warnings that the blue team has guns, too. Exceptin' that there's a long run of real estate between having a gun and having a gun and knowing how to use it. PE Biden is already bloviating (sp?) about his new gun registration/ forfeiture plan for "weapons of war". Shiiiiiuuut. He only thinks we have a gun problem now.

It starts small. Tomorrow, guns. Today? Masks. Our county issued a mask mandate. Not so fast, Spanky. Within ten days, we had created a small group of us who'd rather not throw out our civil rights. This past Sunday, 15 of us met to discuss how we plan to respond. My assignment was to create a FB page (private) to rallk troops. Invitation only. 117 members in the first 24 hours after launch. 137 as of this morning. Already talking with attorneys who are representing a group of businesses in Wichita who are suing everyone from the courthouse janitor up over violating both the US and Kansas constitutions. I've undertaken a number of public efforts and causes this past year and I've yet to score a loss on any issue, so I'm feeling lucky. Bad, painful knees make me irritable and I just as well take it out on commies and socialists who are stupid enough to yank a chain without wondering how big the dog is tied to the other end. I have local business leaders and doctors lining up behind me in this effort,so yeah...maybe I'll get lucky and one of them will be so impressed that they'll say, "WTH you doing carrying mail? Quit that and come to work for ME!" Hopeful. Anything that ain't walking ten miles a day.

Well, the best of luck to you. Fuck'em and the horse they rode in on!

Mailmen walk in Kansas? I have not seen that in 40 years. Don't mean to suggest that Kansas is behind the times, but ours are motorized, the mailbox is at the curb, so with the proper sorting, they can cover a lot of ground. My mailman lady has the kind of thighs that would come in hand in an ass kicking contest and I don't think she could walk very far, but I could be wrong?
