New to the fourm but have hunted yotes about 5 years on and off and just moved to west virgina from northern michigan and im thinking about hunting at night as i havent had much luck(called in 3,no shots offered) i can use any rifle/pistol in the day but only rim fire or shotgun with no larger then #4 at night,what would be better to use?I have a 22mag and a 12 gage(3inch chamber)

Wouldn't it be nice if those that wrote regulations had to justify them? A 22 rimfire can ricochet and bounce around for what they tell me is a mile and a half, but no centerfires that generally blowup within a few hundred yards.
The #4 is #4Buckshot or #4 birdshot? I think these things are written by idiots!
