Below is a link to this case involving some dipshit that tried to cheat or conceal income in order to qualify for food stamps. On the basis of something over 20 odd years ago the government has decided to exclude hm from "The People" who are allowed (if that's the right word) to own firearms.
As this dweeb explains, it hasn't been decided and may hinge on another case. But, while I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for a crook by means of a misdemeanor conviction, that category could include a whole shitpot full of people, as a category, denied their Second Amendment rights. Just about anybody could snag a misdemeanor conviction for damned near anything, including traffic infractions, if a Liberal decided it was useful for disarming as many of the people as possible.
Anyway, be concerned.

(The “we can’t afford it” crowd should note that there’s “an estimated $300 billion” of Kremlin assets “frozen in various bank accounts throughout Western countries,” with an estimated $5 billion in U.S. banks. Why not make the Russians pay for another round of re-arming Ukraine?)
