Camels on the Horizon
Interesting take on history.
Didn’t Thomas Jefferson say something like, “My great grandfather was a warrior so my grandfather could be a farmer so that my father could be a merchant so that I could be a scholar”?
Read a kaleidoscope of truth and reality below.
Camels on the Horizon:
The founder of Dubai, Sheik Rashid, was asked about the future of his country, and he replied, "My grandfather rode a camel, my father rode a camel, I ride a Mercedes, my son rides a Land Rover, and my grandson is going to ride a Land Rover…but my great-grandson is going to have to ride a camel again. “Why is that, he was asked?
And his reply was, “Hard times create strong men, strong men create easy times. Easy times create weak men, weak men create difficult times.
Many will not understand it, but you have to raise warriors, not parasites.”
And add to that the historical reality that all great empires...the Persians, the Trojans, the Egyptians, the Greeks, the Romans, and in later years, the British...all rose and perished within 240 years.
They were not conquered by external enemies; they rotted from within.
America has now passed that 240 year mark, and the rot is starting to be visible and is accelerating.
We are past the Mercedes and Land Rover Years….the camels are on the horizon.
The greatest generation consisted of 18 year old kids storming the beaches at “Normandy”.
And now, two generations later, some 18-year-old kids want to hide in safe rooms when they hear words that hurt their feelings.
They also want free stuff from the government because they think they are entitled to it.
The "camels are on the horizon" for sure…

Guess I was bored this morning.
I suppose it comes with age and lots of free time,
I re-read the topic of this great post and jotted down some additional thoughts.
Tiny percentages of the population who believe and pretend to be something they are not, who demand tolerance when they themselves are intolerant, who feel the need to be in-the-face of their chosen target(s) is nothing less than an incremental truism of the prophetic “Camels on the Horizon”1.
Why? Because these ‘tiny percentages’ know there will be little to no repercussions for their altruistic behavior due to what they ignorantly perceive as well deserved victories for a ‘Cause’ they cannot justify; ergo victims are created.
So exactly who are the real victims? Ironically aggressors claim victimization of themselves to apparently justify their actions simultaneously creating a false narrative.
Victimhood is subjective. For the most part, true victims are typically less educated and passive but not always. Superior and overwhelming force has subjugated many over the ages. Critical thinking is washed from the victimized offspring.
Critical thinking requires a marginal degree of logic and the examination of ‘Cause and Effect’ and also whether failure is eminent. Will self-aggrandizing exploits result in a poisonous pill? And for whom?
Poisonous pills appear in many forms so pick your poison:
• Transgender-ism
• Black Lives Matter
• Critical Race Theory
• Defund The Police
• Socialism
• Fill in the blank with any societal abnormality
Normal or Abnormal?
When I was very young and impressionable Popeye said… Eat Your Spinach.
Hmmm. Sixty+ years later I’m wondering. Was that a demand upon a ‘Victim’?
Or was it a subliminal attempt to re-train the mind to affect future generations?
Perception and Presentation are the keys for changing behavior.

Another take on history, this was supposedly said by Alexander Fraser Tytler back in the early 1800's. With our debt at 30 trillion, he may be on to something here.

Can't win them all and now we are stuck with a black female communist-FOREVER, and she can't define a woman because she's not a biologist! But that's what we get when you start checking the boxes-female-yup-black-yup, and it also applies to Vice President-yup!
I have been personally discriminated against for a job I wanted but it went to an unqualified, (on the basis of talent) "minority". When you get right down to it, that there is a fucked up policy and it's been entrenched for like fifty fucking years or so and it's complete BULLSHIT!
