I think we got played for suckers. These "scientists" are a bunch of HAIR ON FIRE predictors. The risk, (of dying) is pretty small, somewhere between getting hit in a crosswalk and being struck by lightning. For that, we shut down the whole economy? Driving home yesterday from my favorite store, Costco, I saw two closed businesses with FOR LEASE signs.
I sure hope we can bounce back but I am disgusted by the attitude of the Left. Those cocksuckers want the country to grind to a halt. It's incredible and it's sickening!
There was an announcement that one of the Whitehouse staffers tested positive for the virus, and a Liberal reporter wrote a Tweet that she hoped the man died! I mean really! Doesn't know him, but he works for Trump and the EVIL BITCH wished him dead! These motherfuckers play for keeps! This is a whole different level of politics.
They aren't far removed from The Weather Underground with pipe bombs!
I think we went a little overboard, pulled along by the criminally Liberal Media.

Being one of those that most people call a conspiracy theorist, I believe that it was a commie plot to destabilize the USA and the western world and play into the hands of those communist loving democrats that would love nothing better than to create turmoil in the USA to get control.Marshal Law etc. etc..Number 13 in the rules for radicals

Surprising just how fast the commercial media grabbed a hold of the flu bug coattails? Almost every commercial you see now alludes to staying safe, wearing the garb du jour, masks etc, they are pushing this "new normal" mantra.
You can get mail order masks delivered discreetly to your door step now just like piss pads and mens catheters.
It still tickles me that the masks do little to nothing to prevent getting this illness, but more and more people are donning them. It is not airborne, it is most contagious from touching shit, that people that have wiped their nose,then touched or coughed spittle onto.
I see all the businesses and locations they ban folks from entering, no barber or salons, eateries or "elective surgeries" at hospitals, these all are off limits. They have always practiced a degree of health awareness and mindset, but nope, you can't go there.
On the other hand lets herd a thousand people a day into Walmart to finger fuck the tomatoes, handle meat packages deciding whether or not they want that particular item, jars, cans, fresh fruit, you name it, but that's fine?
I not sure why this whole flu thing is such a big deal, especially when there are so many more illnesses and behaviors and practices with a much higher morbidity rate?

Yes, but you can get beat up and arrested in many places for not wearing a damned mask!
And, like I said about the Gestapo. Do not count on them to let things slide. They are always willing to arrest non conformists.

I didn't watch all the youtube video, matter of fact, I stopped as soon as she said that breathing into a mask is the same as breathing into a paper bag and that a mask must be properly fit to work.
She might be smart, but she ain't that smart because it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the difference. The primary difference being "volume". Nearly all of our breath exits a mask and nearly none of it exits a paper bag.
And a proper fit would be needed if we were actually trying to capture or prevent gases from reaching or leaving our mouth. But we're not.
Wearing of mask isn't about preventing the covid from reaching your lungs, it's not about your breath reaching others. It's about capturing moisture from when we speak, cough, sneeze. That's all it is. Preventing bodily fluids from traveling from our body to other surfaces.
I'm not here telling anyone to wear a mask. Hell, I haven't and don't but it's mostly because of the places that I go in my day to day life. If I were going into some crowded places I might do otherwise. And the places that I go, I don't care if anyone else is masked up or not.
Do I think it was the right thing to do to go into near total lock down. Yip, in some locations it was probably the right thing to do. Thing is, being in New York is a far cry from being any where in N. Dakota. One size don't fit all.
I have confidence that the ship is going to right itself pretty quickly. People are about worn out with being locked up. The specialist keep asking the question if people will even come back to the restaurants and theaters once they open, to them I say, open them and see. My guess is people are going to flock to them like sparrows to seeds. Already seeing crowds here in Colo. They opened a beach area at a local lake and the crowd got so big that the rangers came in and cleared everyone out because, well, the huge crowds and ya can't have people outside enjoying themselves, especially if they aren't 6 fucking feet apart.
Come Memorial weekend, I believe we're going to see more crowds at local lakes. People are ready to be done with this lock down. Enough is enough.

A friend went out to Whitehorse lake this weekend he said every flat spot was occupied He said even his little back trails where nobody goes were full!

Well, here we are debating the merits.
What we should be talking about is what happened to the state of New York and the extremely high percentage of deaths from damned nursing homes! You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see the difference between North Dakota and New York nursing homes! That little trick was/is criminal, and Governor Cuomo said: Hey, old people die, that's what they do!
Other than that, we are talking about death rates from this virus being less than the annual flu, and much less than the suicides and depression caused by bankruptcy and unemployment. What I'm saying is, maybe this "covid 19" is just not as big a deal as advertised? Maybe we would be far better off to ignore it, live with it, and move on?
Everybody is come down with a huge case of Cabin Fever! Let's roll the dice and take our chances! You first!
