Colbert, a fucking progressive Liberal comes up with a knee jerk idea, changing the voting age. Then Lawrence Tribe says maybe the voting age should be 14 or 16?
Yeah, sure. You know, even an 18 year old doesn't know a damned thing about reality. They don't pay for anything yet, they live at home, don't pay taxes and don't have a job.
But, these fucking liberals think we should be controlled by CHILDREN who know nothing! It's already too late to get rid of the 18 year old vote and now, in a bolt of lightning, they think we should be 21 to buy a scary black rifle!
Actually, I think I could support this concept. But when Obama decides that these know nothing kids should be on their parent's health insurance policy, that blows a damned hole in the idea that 18 year olds are mature enough to vote. That's the stupidest law passed in many years. The things that are important to 18 year olds have nothing to do with grown ups and their struggles. These children don't have a care in the friggin' world and all they care about is voting for the first black and for the first woman, bullshit like that.

But, here's something that crossed my mind yesterday. I was watching busloads of high school kids disembarking really nice busses with their backpacks, of course.
But here's the thing. These kids, who is bankrolling the transportation, where are the kids staying in Washington DC? Who is supervising them? Where are they eating, who's paying for the Taco Bell and McDonald's cuisine? What parents let their children go with George Soros Liberals, and be manipulated, given preprinted placards and catchy durable signs?
This stuff is meant for thinking people to not think but get emotional. Are the gun grabbing Democrats behind this sudden movement? Yeah right, listen to the children. Have you any freeking idea how illiterate is the average 16-17-18 year old? Yes, they are whizzes at iPhone, which their parents go for free as long as they pay for at least 4 phone lines. But the latest phone costs something like $800, no kid can come up with that money on their own and they don't give the question a passing thought, but they are supposed to be the nation's conscience regarding the Second Amendment?

Actually, I'm in favor of closing the fucking "gun show loophole" because it doesn't exist anyway.
What I am against is giving in to "Common Sense Legislation"
Who's idea of common sense? Like banning all semi automatics? That kind of common sense?
The thing is: there is no discussion, no give and take. Overtime we discuss solutions, we lose a freedom. And, they won't be satisfied. They think an Australian buy back program is reasonable.
