I'm for throwing the book at this "hunter" out after dark, shooting at something he could not accurately identify, and with a "hi powered" handgun. 200 yards, offhand, no problem.

His booking photo, just barely suppressing a smirk. And, I'm lumped in with an asshole like this! Why not, you say? We are both hunters, eh?

Good hunting. El Bee

This asswipe should lose his privilege to own firearms or hunt for the rest of his life. Call it manslaughter and throw the book at him.

it happens all too often from shotgun turkey hunters blasting other turkey hunters to a black powder elk hunter shooting another hunter here in Colo. just a couple of years ago.
I just don't get it. Are these jack wagons shooting at movement, sound, what? What ever happened to the hunting rule of no your target, and what's behind it.

Is it hunting season yet? I hate summer!

Yes, absolutely! Turkey hunting has to be the worst shooting accident on the planet! Where do these guys come from? I cannot imagine shooting at some movement, or the sound of some guy making turkey clucks? Also, how do two people manage to get in the same woods without being aware of each other? While a lot of folks would shake their heads and attribute that stuff to an unfortunate hunting accident, I would firstly like to beat the offender to a bleeding pulp with his own shotgun, then tisk tisk about unfortunate accidents. It's incredibly unfortunate stupidity, if you ask me?

But, any version of accidents involving loaded firearms in vehicles involve stupidity. And, Scott is just the man to straighten things out, big time. (just kidding, Buddy) I still say, putting an AR in the back of my truck pointing forward with a round chambered and the safety on, is a BIG FUCKING NO NO, in my book! When I objected, he turned it sideways. Yeah, I know, it will always stay that way.

Good hunting. El Bee

edit: I guess the problem is that AR's are a pain in the ass to load, and noisy, especially if you are like Moe and walk away from the vehicle before screwing with the loading. So, I can understand why a man would want to put it back in the vehicle with the safety on. Let's face it, I don't like hunting with a man using an AR, period!
