Picked the forum at random, but I have a bone to pick with the young generation, the generation that thinks they are so well informed. Read this and see if you agree with me, the administrative structure of colleges is enriching themselves and the student comes out,YOUNG AND DUMB AND FULL OF CUM.

At one time, it was just football jocks that wasted their time in class. Now, it's everybody.

Kids today know nothing. Kids with a college degree, know nothing and they are considerably in debt, learning un-useful stuff.

At the very best, or least, however you measure it, kids today, having attained a college degree, they are just about as knowledgeable as a high school graduate from the 1960's. Yet, they think they know it all.

The fraud is the administration and the bucks they are knocking down. In this article, they claim that University of Phoenix has, or had a 1% graduation rate. But the money spent of tuition, I don't even know how you calculate that? Anyway, read about it:

Yes, but .... but ..... but...
While North Korea developes hyper-sonic misles, China dominates world economy and Russia is poised to invade Ukrain our college students have solved the problem of Potato Head gender.

Yeah, the only thing dumber than a college student is a group of college students. Most any Red Neck in a Trade School is smarter and will do better in life.

Yeah, is it really true that Mr Potato head donates commissions to Brian Seltzer, that bald asshole on CNN?

And ha ha, you misspelled "Ukraine" again! So much for trade school! Yes, but but!

Also, since you wiped out the coyotes in Safford, where have you been concentrating on lately?

Good hunting. El Bee

Yes, an access fee.
Distasteful as that seems at first when looked at in it's entirety, not a bad deal.

Big game hunts, Western states.

License fees. High for non-resident.
Non refundable application fees for tags that you may or may not get.
Tag costs. Really high for non-resident.
Desired Unit may or may not be availble.
The whole point thing; confusing and possibly a bit shady.
The hunt; Jusy you and an endless parade of quads & side by sides running every ridge, sand wash, gated off two track and into wilderness areas.
Last but not least, depleted game populations from an extended drought.

Now ...............

Feral pigs in Texas;
Non-Resident basic license. Reasonable $$
Access fee. Varies widly depending on what's offered and what's expected. Still probably cheaper than a lot of big game hunts.
Very few restrictions on how to hunt; anything from pointed sticks to fully automatic weapons out of a heliocopter with night vision.
Hogs;
Fun to hunt.
Can be a worthy challenge but still a good chance to get into them.
Year around season.
Good to eat.

So yeah, probably gonna pay the coin sometime this year.

You've made the case, although you didn't need to convince me. I know that stuff and I've hunted hogs in Texas and Commiefornia. With dogs and over the corn bait from a blind.

I can tell you this, in that choked brushy Manzanita up around King City or Hunter Liggett. You might hear them all day long in their tunnels under the branches and they only come out after dark. Dogs ARE the answer, in the daytime. Even then, you get one shot at black greased lightning! Unless the dogs bay them up.

In Texas from a blind, both the deer and hogs wait until it's pitch dark. Or, I've "heard" that the animals hear the whirr of the machine tossing the corn and that's when they come out of the brush.

I've killed a few ranging from maybe 50-60 pounds and one at 200 pounds. I think stalking them is, shall we say, good exercise! Hogs probably have better hearing than the whitetails, then theres the herd thing and not that much with the deer, at least the bucks. They've got it pretty figured out. The ranchers do.

Myself, I'd never pay to hunt their trophy whitetails but Texas has virtually zero public land, so if you want to hunt Texas, ya gotta know somebody.

But, you know all that. The thing is, the way it's getting to be, even in AZ with javelina, as you said all those preference points are very suspect, pretty much a gimmick anymore, not everywhere, but in some cases after a 100 years, you might have a fighting chance at a tag. That's why some of those guys enlist the little wiffy to apply for a tag.

Anyway, it's something to do. But it's also the reason why so many hunters get after coyotes. It's more of a challenge anyway, and it satisfy's the urge.

Good hunting. El Bee
