Topic: A little question, opinion, maybe need advice?

Alright, I might have gone a little overboard.
I remember, or recollect that at one time our local gun stores had some kind of law or rule that they could only have 7 pounds of powder on the floor. Whatever else they had in stock, they kept in a gun safe in the back room. Maybe it's a local ordinance, regulation by the fire department or something?
Anyway, I got a delivery this afternoon and I started putting it on the shelf and then I thought about quantity and I have 32 pounds "on the shelf". So my question is, is there a fire requirement or do I need a steel cabinet or is it just a good idea? It's stored in a cool, dry place and there's a lock on the door, but it's not what you would call fireproof.
Two of the powders are spherical, Accurate TCM and Accurate #5, which I really like for metering. The other is Titegroup, Vic's favorite. I haven't opened it but assume it's the double base flat disc type of powder. All three are quite versatile, supposed to be suitable for everything I load for, from 9mm to 44Mag. And I got it on Hornady's website $33 for two and the TCM was $27, practically a bargain at today's prices.
I still am shocked at the prices they are getting for H4831 and the usual extruded rifle powders, they all seem to be around $41 per pound. And, in most rifles that you need at least 50+ grains for most big game calibers, a pound doesn't go very far.
I'm wondering if I should be on the lookout for a freestanding metal storage cabinet? What do you think? And what do you do?

HELLO?
Where the hell is everybody? I just checked and this is a slow month but as of right now with almost two full days remaining, the page visits stand at 512,000. So, dead site, and all that, but we still have considerable Lookie Loos checking in to see what's going on....and I have to admit; not much.
Everybody's too busy cleaning their guns or watching porn, online. Just log in, log on if you are a Liberal and peck out a welcome. I know you can do it! That's purdy funny, huh? Liberals on this site? They wet their pants contemplating those conservative Elmer Fudd's with their unregistered AR15's! Something must be done! Close all the LOOP HOLES BEFORE WE ARE ALL SLAUGHTERED! etc.

edit: as if our members didn't know, and they do. All the mayhem and slaughter at shopping malls and town centers, Synagogs and churches, they are all committed by Liberal Democrats! I had a visit from Dish Network, while trying to get out from under Spectrum. I'm pissed at both of them but I'm locked into Dish for 2 friggin' years! Anyway, the repair guy gave me some good advice so I'm going to keep land line and Internet with Spectrum. Oh, and he's coming back on his day off, without his uniform and wants a thousand Large Rifle primers!
He has guns but they are all military calibers, 223, 9mm and 308. (big tent)

As to your second post. In my opinion, little to late.
The libs have fucked up this country beyond repair as you,me and members here knew it.
Hate to say it (at the age now), I'm to the point of just saying "fuck it".

So, conservatives, people with traditional values are going to give up and let those bastards have their way, transitioning 7 year olds, abortion even post birth, keeping the fetus comfortable while the woman consults with medical authorities to determine the best course of action? And all the rest of their sick, liberal agendas and policies. I guess the country ain't worth fighting for? Just say, whatever and let those creeps do what they want while we just mind our own business. It won't be long before they have everything the way they like it and there are no options, everything is MANDATORY! Yeah, maybe that's best?
