Every once in awhile , I get a close call with a fuckin snake..

This morning, I crossed a wash using a cow path and one was sitting still right in the middle ; buried in the fine sand. If my right foot came down, I would have been 12 to 9" away from it!

I hate those quiet ones!

Last year I had a big red rattlesnake living in the rock pile on my archery range for a couple of weeks. It never rattled once. It finally wandered off. Haven't seen it since.
