Party of 1 here. If I get really ambitious and get everything loaded up early in the week, I'll leave Utah in the dust Wednesday after work. If not, I'll see you guys Thursday evening. About 9.5 hours according to Google maps.

That's the first time I have EVER used that word but I'm sure I deserve the scorn. And, (believe it or not) it was intentional. Go figure? But, do I deserve a pile on from a New Yawker? (one who punked out?)
By the way, what do you do with that flathead? Release it or eat it or what? What kind of gear, like a surf rod, stink bait, chicken livers? How much did it weigh?

I just want say, I really appreciated those yodel chicks..
We think it was pushing slightly over 40lbs.. Those flats are pretty cool to figure out.. They like live bait, so we put on bluegill and small carp.. They don't hit stink bait.
They grow only 2 to 3 inches in a year.. So I try not to kill the old ones.. Fight'em for another day.

Leonard, in all sincerity, I'm bummed out.
I really, really wanted to make this year's Campout. A few guys here offered rides, but just couldn't get there in time to not be a major hangup for them.
Even looked to see what a last minute Friday flight would cost to PHX, they are thru da roof. Considered a Banzai! trip, but the time I'd get a rental car & drive up, I'd have missed a major portion of campfire time...
Fuck.
I do hope you guys have a high time of things!!!
