Seems to me that the winner of last night's Dem. debate was ………………… President Donald Trump.

I hope you're right. I watched less last night then I did the earlier shit shows. Seems to me the Dems. are running on one simple platform, see who can promise more give aways then the other. Free this, free that, take from the rich and give to all. blah, blah, blah....Trump bad,....more blah, blah, blah..

Wow! Did I miss something? I swear, there is not one candidate that impresses me even a little bit. I saw a headline this morning that they took the gloves off. So what? As has been said many times, there is only so much free stuff, and wouldn't you think people would realize that it's just not possible to give it by taxing billionaires....again. If there is a group that knows how to avoid paying taxes, it's billionaires, so this free stuff is a lie. The one that is most dishonest and probably most effective with the kiddies is canceling student loans for their worthless degrees in underwater basketweaving.
There is not a single Democrat candidate that has any business running for the highest office in the land, not to mention the world. I kinda liked that hippy chick, Maryanne but I guess she didn't make it, didn't "qualify" for the big debate. The Surfer chick from Hawaii, quite a hottie and member of the national Guard, did she qualify, or not? I don't see any of them beating Trump? And yet, we have the national polls that tell us that every cotton picking one of them would beat him, one on one. WTF? This really makes me doubt the way they conduct these polls. You can make people answer the way you want: "When did you stop beating your wife?" and GEE WIZZ, looks like Trump's a loser! Don't bet on it!
Maybe, maybe if they actually come up with a legit candidate. But of the 20, and of the 10 remaining, it's a joke. This asshole Beto needs his ass kicked, for one thing. The rest, Sleepy leads the field and he can't keep his foot out of his mouth, every day, and just think of the ones that the Media were able to bury and we never knew?
Seriously, Trump is good for 4 more years, no matter what he does that the Media doesn't like. I'm ready to bet the house!

PS He better be careful giving in on "universal background checks" ! I think everyone knows that's a roadmap for confiscation. It's amazing how the Dems mouth the buzz words and don't even know what "high capacity" means, and "assault weapon" what the hell is that?

Well, what did you bring home? I don't go to gun shows out here any more. The local fire dept has convinced the venues that it's unsafe to have and stock and offer for sale, stuff like bullets, primers, propellants and "live" ammo. It's ultra sanitary and boring. Man, give me the good old days when we had the largest gun show in America at the LA county fairgrounds!
One county supervisor stopped that gun show!

Didn't bring much home. Mainly information about local shoots & such. I consider gun shows to be cheap entertainment for a couple of hours and I had to go to Tucson anyway.

See, that's the difference, ko ko. You say a couple hours of cheap entertainment, fine and dandy.
But when we had that big gun show at the fairgrounds, they would line up in the morning and with a dozen buildings chock full of really cool stuff, you can't do it, all day long with a backpack for storing all your purchases. This was an event, my friend and it's really sad that it's gone without a whimper, we just allowed it to die. A damned shame! They used to advertise (I think?) 5,800 TABLES!
That's a lot of junk to look at and there were deals and rare stuff and I bought a few rifles and handguns and a few that I wish I had but didn't. I'll say it again; a damned shame it's gone. The ones they have here now and one building and as you say, a couple hours and you have seen everything worth seeing and then some.
