You better have a fat wallet. Bruno is a master gunsmith on Remington 700s only. It is the only action he will work on, and when he does he blueprints the action, laps the lugs and everything else a F class or ben rest shooter could ask for. He caters to the match shooters.
I was nearby so I went in to see if he had primers. He had several different primers. The largest packages were 5,000 primers made in Bosnia. I asked the price for a for 1,000 small rifle and the clerk said $140 without blinking an eye. No wonder he has primers, and you can buy his whole stock out if you want. What a guy.
Leonard: I hope this helps properly price some of the primers you can spare.

Yeah, thanks! $140 and that’s for foreign primers! I only sold a thousand Frderal 210 Match for a hundred bucks. Sounds like I could have asked for more? I’ve been thinking of going down to BassProShops and just sitting on a bench out front with my boxes beside me. I also have 6,000 Remington 9 1/2 large rifle. I wonder what I should ask?
I’m not selling any small rifle or any pistol primers, I only have enough for my needs.
Somebody should come up with what a guy needs to have in a stockpile. Obviously, I’m a little overboard on large rifle and have barely enough on everything else. And pistol, I’ve loaded enough to last me a very long time.
I mean really, how long can this shortage last? Of all things to worry about, they want to go after ghost guns! And there he was, Biden lying through his teeth about what a threat they are to western civilization!

I bought 20,000 from him a while back. 3200.00 but I am close to out so I bought more. It is expensive but I don't want to be out.

That's a serious purchase, Amigo! You bought 20,000 and you are almost out so you bought more, is that right?
My thinking is that the crazyness will slow down after November and disappear if we get a conservative like deSantis in 2024.
I have a question. I have seen some Military primers for sale, just recently. What is the difference, maybe a harder cup material? But are they a alternative for hobbyest handloaders like myself? My only problem is that I shorted myself by loading so much pistol. NOT that I am a big consumer of pistol primers but I'm damned near cleaned out and that tends to make me a bit nervous. I've been thinking of buying 32acp dies, something I never seriously considered before, but with loaded ammunition being stupidly expensive. and my Seecamp needs 60 grain hollow points, or won't fit in the magazine. Anyway, at $85 for 50 cartridges, smaller than 22lr at least in length.

Anyway, is panic within the overall "community" responsible for all this stockpiling? I think that's a very logical explanation, and not necessarily conspiracy's by the Star Chamber. We are falling for it in the long lines at the gun store, and me personally, I have waited for 2 hours, outside, to get in the store, which was almost sold out of anything a reasonable person would want to buy. They had just a couple handguns in display cases that could hold probably at least 50 and they had the usual crummy AR15 clones and that's what I stood in line for. I bought some of those short 12 gauge shells as something I earned by standing in line for 3 hours. Nobody made me do it. Crisis averted and nobody died, but there I was, a knee jerk reactionary and panic buying twenty dollars worth of novelty shotshells for no good reason.
It's us. We are the cause and it's amusing but we can't afford to ignore the threat so we try to protect ourselves from the government and Liberals. Meanwhile, I'm stocked up to the rafters!
