All I can say is that anybody that can stick a coyote with an arrow is a hero, in my book! A man could easily spend a lifetime and not accomplish that little gem.
How the hell do you do it? A blind? Total leafy camo head to foot, gallons of scent killer? What's the secret?
Okay, arrow passes through, coyote runs off, requires some luck even to find him? I've had cats and coyotes fall into holes and ditches and just blind luck to even find them. One time a bush was growing over the damned hole that he fell in to.

The secret is in Stand Selection...... plain and simple.
Camo is good ........... stillness is Golden.
Success is measured in getting a shot. Hitting is a bonus.
Tracking is an on-going skill that can always teach you something new.
And last but not least;
If you're the type that has to kill something to have a successful day ........ this pointed stick stuff probably ain't for you.

I am seventy and have yet to put a stick in a Mule deer its much harder than it seems. they are very alert ! have only let one fly and it missed due to a twig I did not see , deflection oh shit ! My good friend Rich Higgins has killed 22 coyotes with a bow ! he is also a new g pa as Tyler and Mary had a baby ! a beautiful little boy thank God he looks like his momma!

Thanks KOKO its strange not having them here if the feeders are low they will swarm me upon exiting the casa. They know I am the nectar man and have no fear of me I can stand between the two feeders and they act as if I'm not there.
Leonard I came to Arizona to do a construction project after about a week I could not leave California fast enough ! You may have the hummers but you also have Nancy Pelosi ! Take care my friend !

I know, Paul. I'm just jealous! I've been threatening to move for more than 35 years, at least since I started contemplating retirement. I've always been close to my dad's brother's kids and visited often. I always knew I wanted to live there, but what the hell stopped me?
Right now, I'm thinking I need to buy a second home there, if it's ever going to happen. Somehow, I need to enjoy the advantages, especially concerning gun rights!
You know, none of the damned stores here have any guns, all sold out! They have this idiotic regulation about MICRO STAMPING and nobody knows how to do it, so the supply has dried up. I read my magazines about the latest friggin' models and know they won't be approved here so why bother even reading about it? And then, like everybody knows, all you have to do is gently stone a microstamping and it disappears....or order a new firing pin.
That's an example of what happens when ignorant nincompoops are passing laws about things they don't understand. Once again, they are trying to void Prop 13, concerning my property taxes that saves me THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS every year. I'm told that we have the highest taxes on everything, in the country? Every time I cross the river and pay a friggin' dollar per gallon less than on this side, it reminds me of how citizens are being screwed over here.
Now, why did you get me all wound up, this morning?
