Been busier than shit. The MIL moved her RV out by the barn six weeks ago.
We found her a place nearby. It needs some work, she's been over painting the inside all week.
She cooks & stuff in the house. No big deal, it's kinda just shifted me & the wife a "tad" took in the wife's sister along the way on a temporary deal to get her up & going. Just no time to post lately.
Weather has cooled for now might get my fencing project finished ?
Work is stupid crazy this time of year.
Y'all keep in touch & let us know, what's up ?

Yeah that storm blew thru here about sunset. Knocked a bunch of shit over and some rain, not much.
Cool out this morning feels great. Now off to fencing for awhile. I'm tired.

Well, it's hot and humid and I am really glad the kids got a new tractor as I just had to dismantle just a few? hundreds of feet of fence and pull t-posts after moving the goat herd to another enclosure. Yes I am a raghead now with a herd of goats, to another beautiful Kudzu patch. Had to quit and drink a few? beers. Man those goats are eating machines to say the least. Got full of poison ivy and the beer helps but not enough. Got the driveway all rebuilt so you don't have to play Jeep commercial to get up to the house and am waiting for another 2-4 inch rain to see how it holds up. That amount of rain is really not that unusual here. So that's what's happening here in southeast Tennessee.

That's what Tillie's ears remind me of, a Nubian goat with the long floppy ears.
But, she hasn't attempted to climb a tree, yet.

That storm system must have been a big 'un. Got the southern tip of it here in central KS about 3 this morning. Quite a light show. Torrential rain, inch and a half total, winds were bad mojo on my flower beds, but they'll bounce back after giving them a boost of food a bit ago. Muggy as hell right now. Talked to Q last evening, same there.
Starting to see the sumac turn to crimson. The naked ladies are in bloom. County fair is over and school starts this week. Should be seeing massive eruptions of goldenrod plants blooming in the grasslands in the next week. Started looking at the tumbler yesterday and thinking about the various piles of 223 brass here and there and how it's nigh time to start filling stripper clips. Won't be long.
Gonna strap up with the 9mm and go get groceries with my bride in a bit, then back to this desk for a shitload of paperwork. Kinda sucks that you have to pack heat to go get milk and bread, but it is what it is.

I've got post poles set on my 180' driveway.
Some are offset despite my efforts. I'm done, have a 55+ hour work week coming. It sucks to get old. Have lots to do, just not enough energy.
I hear ya Walt. I like my goats. I do think t-posts are easier. Damn driver gets heavy though.
About 70 right now how wonderful.

Sounds like you have a cutie !! LB
Enjoy her !! I got my Sadie girl about two years ago now. I'd be lost without her. We went to Burns Oregon to visit a friend last weekend & she had a blast.
All kinds of shit to sniff in the high desert !!

Hey Dave; You're not really old until someone mentions an orange flavored Metamucil vodka screwdriver and you go "Well …………. Yeah."

I was on a cruise one time and all these people went on an excursion called a Kon Tiki harbor cruise. They were served a 50/50 mix of Pineapple juice and 151 Rum. Every damned one of them came back to the ship shit faced for the rest of the night, and these weren't the professional drinkers, these were strict amateurs, even old ladies. It was hilarious!
Good hunting. El Bee
PS I was spared. I took some other tour and all we got was a beer at a rest stop. I missed out, big time!
