I've got one who grows a beard every fall/winter. Problem is he likes them big full and bushy. I prefer neat and trimmed. Oh well it's his beard.

Yes, please put me down as not understanding? I can't even figure out why it bothers me a little bit, freely admitting that it's no skin off my nose.
If I spend a week or two in the woods, I sure as hell don't bother shaving, but boy does it feel good to scrape that stuff off my handsome face, when I get home....that and a long hot shower.

PS If I let it go, it's as pure white as is ko ko's. Just a quirk of nature. On my dad's side, nobody had gray hair, and my grandfather, Stanley was 95 with dark brown, not black, and my dad didn't have a gray hair on his head. On the other hand, my mother's parents, I have no recollection of either of them with a color other than white, not gray. So, guess who I take after? My mother's side, of course. Could be worse, I guess? I could be bald.

He keeps the nose hairs trimmed thank goodness.

I used to have one of those things but it quit working and I tossed it. My dearly departed thought I could use such a thing. But, now I'm forced to use a manually operated tweezer. Takes a little practice, very retro.

PS whatever happened to the braids? I have this mental image of Paul with hair extensions, coming out of his nose.... what the hell do they call them, hot irons, etc. Those black women with Caucasian straight hair, apparently "natural" is out of vogue these days?
