interesting.

I have something a little strange with my Infiniti. Every once in a while, I don't shut it down properly and I will go out the next day and the damned battery is dead! Seems like a simple procedure, step on the brake, put the trans in park and hit the start/stop button. But once it seemed like I had left the radio on, but I'm not sure if that is what did it?

Anyway, I have to jumpstart the next day and I have a professional roll around 200amp battery charger. The timer doesn't work, in fact, it fell apart, down inside. I took the side panels off and I need a new timer so I got online and Schumacher told me to call an outfit in Canada and they told me to order it online and gave me the address.

The interesting thing is, seems like anything shipped from Canada is expensive. I had my snowshoes sent home and it cost me not quite as much as the damned snowshoes, but these are native made. Anyway.

I lost the knob a long time ago and ordered it, too for $5 (excessive!) and the shipping was $12 but they charged me zero for the timer itself? I don't know maybe a warranty issue? The charger sells for $135 US dollars so I was thinking up to $50 for the timer but I'll take it!

I have this charger because I needed to recharge my trolling motor and of course my aircraft battery for night operations. Not so much. anymore.

I am very surprised at no charge for the timer itself?

Good hunting. El Bee

If you drove a pick-up truck you wouldn't have these problems......... plus you would have bigger bumpers with more room for Trump stickers. [Razz]

Are you even still allowed to own pick-up trucks in Calif. ?? [Confused]

Well, I'm a former owner of two 4 wheel drive pick ups, a Dodge and the Titan. Sold them both. I do feel a little naked without a truck, right now but that can be fixed. I have to tell people that I used to have a truck. Sold my wife's 280Z, also. See how I'm getting ready for the big move?

Good hunting. El Bee
